Defoamers:
Used to eliminate foam formation; we have products suitable for use in all textile applications. Formulations are available which are either silicone-based or silicone-free. Many are stable in the presence of high concentrations of electrolyte and in high shear and temperature scenarios i.e. reactive dyeing of cellulosics, jet dyeing machines and printing lines.
Sequestrants / dispersants:
These products are needed to remove heavy metal ions from aqueous media along with hardness salts which can interfere with textile processing. If you have an issue involving contamination of either substrate or processing liquor we can supply a product tailored to remove the problem. Dispersants are also useful to maintain correct dispersion / solution of dyes and produce good colour fast dyeings.
Dye fixing agents:
Consumers expect excellent wet colour fastness and our range of dye fixing agents is designed to give superb results. We have products suitable for all classes of dye used on cellulosic material including zero-formaldehyde reactive dye fixers.
Dyebath lubricants:
Dyebath lubricants are vital to prevent creasing, abrasion and pilling of fabrics during garment and fabric processing. We have a wide range of polymeric-based products, which also offer other technical advantages such as antistatic effects and improved disperse dye dispersion.
Print thickeners:
Emulsion and Liquid Dispersion Polymers used for thickening print pastes.
Continuous dyeing assistants:
Along with an extensive range of conventional textile auxiliaries we offer products for continuous dyeing operations.
Finishing products:
As with thickeners for printing we can offer a range of textile finishing products based on acrylic polymers. These are used as binders and handle modifiers and a wide range of effects can be achieved with these materials.
